Releases

Every vintage is a fixed, named version of the data. Each release is recorded here with its date and its notes; a correction appears as a superseding build.

How releases are recorded

A vintage is named for the year and its ordinal within the year: DTG 2026.3 is the third release of 2026. Its release notes record the source revisions incorporated, the classification changes applied, and any change to how the data is built. A defect that affects values is corrected by a superseding rebuild carrying a revision marker (the first correction of a vintage is r1, for example DTG 2026.3r1), and the note for that build names what changed; the superseded build is withdrawn and never served again. Entries are dated and are not edited after publication.

DTG does not publish a release calendar and does not commit to a cadence. The dates below are the record of when releases happened, not a schedule of when they will.

Release history

Two releases carry a public name: DTG 2026.2 and DTG 2026.3. The list below is the full record, newest first. Release notes appear under each entry where one was written; none was written for DTG 2026.2.

  1. DTG 2026.3

    current

Actual figures now reach the first quarter of 2026

    Source data

    Actuals now span 2004Q1 to 2026Q1 (previously 2004Q1 to 2025Q4). Carried-forward quarters now span 2026Q2 to 2026Q3, and projections 2026Q4 to 2036Q4.

    Method

The industry, occupation and geography classifications are unchanged from the previous release. The build now checks five coverage rules before it will produce a file, and records a measurement of suppression by county size; this release passed all five.

  2. DTG 2026.2

No release note was written for DTG 2026.2.
